MOYENEI VALDÉS
It is with great happiness and gratitude that we want to inform you that Moyenei Valdés is a very special collaborator of this meeting of The Voice of the Grandmothers of the Americas.
She will be in charge of delighting us with her songs of medicine music and organizing the musical part and concerts with other artists.
We are very grateful to you, dear sister, for supporting this event.
Moyenei Valdés
Born in Chile in 1978.
Singer, composer, performer, visual artist, therapist, and researcher.
Reflective and conscious themes have defined her compositional tone since 1996. Her original musical works have paved the way for her 29-year career.
Her sound blends Latin American roots music, urban music – Afro-soul, and Medicine songs. In 1997, she founded the band Mamma Soul in Chile, which became a socio-cultural and commercial phenomenon with their first album FE, significantly influencing Chile's social and cultural scene during the 90s.
To date, she has released four albums and has been nominated for the Grammy four times, receiving a gold record for her debut album FE.
She has traveled extensively across the Americas and Europe (including the Middle East), sharing her art and messages through music and Medicine songs.
She is a therapist specializing in Vocal Self-Exploration Methodology, conducting workshops worldwide throughout the year. Over the past 15 years, she has dedicated her work to healing through music therapy and the use of human frequencies in healing songs. Her work creates a transformative space that blends sound and vocal arts, serving as a powerful tool for individuals seeking to elevate their level of expression and communication to excellence.
She is currently directing her first feature documentary, "La Herencia" (The Heritage), which delves into profound experiences of healing and forgiveness, exploring her personal journey through a conversation with her father’s murderer.
Her life journey reflects a deep dive into consciousness and subtle arts, resulting in fertile creative and transformative processes.
Currently, she manages an ethnobotanical agricultural project in Mexico, focused on the study and relationship with medicinal plants. The project’s aim is to respectfully and closely understand the plant world and its extraordinary benefits for human life.
She is also a creative and logistical producer of multicultural festivals with a social and family-oriented focus. She promotes large-scale Buen Vivir gatherings that celebrate life through Earth care, health, and the arts. Some of these include: Festival Equinoccio in Tepoztlán, Mexico; Festival Origen in Mexico; Festival Pachakuti in Chile; and Festival de las Resistencias in Mexico City, among others.

TITA PARRA
A woman of creation, passionate about universal music and the arts, she has dedicated her life to musical and aesthetic development, seeking her own languages and expressions inspired by the legacy passed down to her from an early age by her grandmother, Violeta Parra.
Violeta Parra, a renowned singer-songwriter and iconic folklorist of Chile, introduced her to Chilean popular music and Latin American songs. Building on this profound heritage, she embraced a commitment to preserving and defending cultural identity through music, poetry, and art.
She was a young protagonist in the social and political movements of Chile and Latin America, accompanying her mother, Isabel Parra, during exile. Together, they performed on stages worldwide, singing for the resistance and liberation of the people. During this time, she launched her solo career in France following the military coup in Chile, releasing her first LP, "Amigos tengo por cientos", in 1978 at the age of 21.
With a discography of seven albums, she has also contributed to numerous productions. From her childhood collaborations with Violeta Parra to her roles as arranger and guitarist for her mother Isabel Parra, with whom she continues to perform as a duo, her work spans generations.
She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Milton Nascimento, Silvio Rodríguez, Pablo Milanés, Ana Tijoux, Mônica Salmaso, Aline Gonçalves, Tarancon, Manuel García, Inti Illimani, and many others. She has written over 70 songs, composed music for documentaries, and created symphonic arrangements.
Her artistry and dedication to the cultural and musical heritage of Chile and Latin America make her a powerful voice in preserving and evolving the region's identity.

SILVANA MUSSO
My name is Silvana Musso. I was born and raised in the city of Rosario in 1969, and I currently live in Paraná, Argentina, with my family, where I have grown both personally and professionally.
You may know me for my songs, but I also work as a Psychologist, Gestalt Therapist, and Clinical & Educational Sexologist.
My spiritual journey led me to be initiated 21 years ago as a Priestess of the Goddess, supporting women through Women’s Circles and the Training in Feminine Spirituality we offer at the Magia Circular Witch School in Argentina. These songs to honor the Sacred Feminine emerged along my path as a Woman of Spirit, in the Women’s Circles, seeking to heal and reclaim the Sacred Feminine.
My journey has been guided by powerful women such as Sandra Román from Argentina, Grandmother Luzclara and Elisa Martínez from Chile and Vicki Noble, creator of the Motherpeace Tarot from the United States, alongside wonderful sisters from all over Latin America and Spain.
You can learn more about me through my website: www.silvanamusso.com.
